Biography

Dr. Aralumallige Parthasarathi, born on March 22, 1948, in Aralumallige village, Bangalore, is an international scholar of Dasa Sahitya, a tradition rooted in the Bhakti movement and the teachings of Madhwacharya. A retired lecturer from MES College, Bangalore, he has dedicated his life to promoting Indian culture through his extensive work in Dasa Sahitya, Vishnu Sahasranama, and related scriptures. Dr. Parthasarathi has delivered over 4,000 lectures and 308 Bhagavatha Saptaha programs in English and Kannada across India, the United States, Europe, Oceania, Southeast Asia, and Gulf countries. He is the founder of the Global Vishnu Sahasranama Sathsang Federation and has a street named after him in Girinagar, Bangalore.

Achievements

  • Karnataka Rajyotsava Award – 1999
  • Authored 55 books, including "Vishnu Sahasra Nama" (English and Kannada), "Haridasara 10000 Haadugalu" (2000 pages), and "Dasa Sahitya Sahara" (1000 pages)
  • Produced 40 audio CDs, including Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, and Vishnu Sahasranama
  • Delivered over 4,000 lectures and 308 Bhagavatha Saptaha programs globally
  • Received titles such as Vidya Vaachaspathi (Sripdaraja Mutt), Haridasa Sahithya Chaktravarthy (VMS Washington DC), and Karnataka Bhakthi Samrat (Cauveri Kannada Koota)
  • Founded the Global Vishnu Sahasranama Sathsang Federation
